Turning The Power On

Updated on April 20, 2011

Find What Motivates Us

Like turning on the light switch we have instant power

A chain saw in action loud and very aggressive

A force to be reckoned with

You can watch it chew up anything in its path

Ripping through the hardest of trees

Bringing them instantly to the ground

The loud buzzing sound means action

How do we tap into that and create an energy that doesn't burn out

Like an old light bulb that pops and turns black

When you shake it you can hear the shhh sound of the fillament broken

There are so many people that want more energy

Just look at the millions in sales those energy drinks do

They trick you into thinking it is good

All the caffeine and sugar to give you that unnatural boost

Giving your heart a race for it's money

Then your body crashes when it has exausted its fuel

How can we function without the coffee high or the nicotein fix

Some people turn to candy for that instant rush

Our bodies are made to do so many amazing feats

There are good energy foods that give us a great start

If we exercise more experts tell us it is supppose to give us more energy

The tips you should know are easy to follow

I have found no quick fix

Just a matter of practice, trial, and error

Find out what works and stick to it

We can tell our minds to jump start our day

Giving us the electrical surge through our bodies

With words that support our action

We have to learn from those who do it every day

Getting psyched up like football players before a big game

Baseball teams who make a comeback being so far behind with a score of 7 to 1

Bring these experiences into your life and keep them in plain sight

For they will be all you need to carry you through

Become a Star Wars Jeti may the force be with you

Dim Flaxenwick I think finding the right things in life that keeps us happy is hard work at times but if we keep having fun when we struggle it makes the difficult times more enjoyable.Turning our power on when we least expect it.Depression can be the enemy. If we look at it together and break it down. What we really have is de- press -i- on.I think there are two many letters in the word to begin with.I am pretty sure it has been spelled wrong all these years. We should drop the de it is not needed. So we are left with pression. Then I think they got these letters mixed up.Reverse the letter to spell the words I-press-on.So what your really saying is you shouldn't be sad at all it is a time we should all learn and say I press on.See what we can accomplish together. Now it is not a mystery no more.Just times in our life that we have to struggle and do our best with the help of all our friends. Thanks for making me think and feeling free to challange every thought that comes to mind.Love and peace make me feel great.
