Under Rain

Updated on December 12, 2016

Without umbrella, she walked under rain
took a deep breath vanished all her pain
she looked at the sky, raised both her hands
she wished that she were one of those birds

Her heart is like a garden, rain keeps it alive
With rain, all her trees and flowers will survive
The river inside her heart is now full of water
When it will be empty, the rain will fill it later

      Hello Omar,

Thank you for posting your poems. I believe poems to be a very personal art form that defies the regular reviewing or criticizing that we would normally do for a book. As a poem is an expression of our emotions and souls, it is hard to give an opinion on except possibly for metering and style. As far as the metering and other poetic elements go, you poems are well constructed and are a pleasure to read. Naturally, the content will always speak to one individual more than another and varies in the place in life that we read them as well.. such as love poems when in love, etc.. I'm glad that you express yourself through such a beautiful art form. Keep up the good work!

My personal favorite is: Under Rain
