Underneath Silent Love
A subtle ache quietly whispers
as I sip on wine,
feeling the music you
gave me
You dezire me painfully,
avoiding filling the void with
absence,
then feeding it with my essence
as you breath me in.
Like sunshine we swim throgh
clusters of distance,
floating on an illusion of honesty,
weaved by our closeness.
Disjointed tails, past and present stories;
we speak intermittently of our realities
and practice empathy
Bleak memories of personal trauma
joining tears,
as we kiss
fighting to dismiss this absurdity
and just fall into the bliss
even for a moment, with quiet hope
of longer lasting peace.
