Unspeakably Beautiful (A Poem)
You walk, softly...
you walk, softly
so scared of the darkness you have created
colorblind to the numbness
you search for that light
only to find out it has been destroyed by your own hope
Barefeet stepping over shattered glass
so uptight, skin shaking
blood slowly draws itself on the broken ground
you couldnt let anyone come in
could you?
pulling yourself
unfolded from the wreckage
twisted flowers around your ferris wheel of what was
and will never be
the russian rulet of the young symphonies
golden to the eye
melted to the touch
there, in the shadows, a stranger emerges
you stutter,
you scream, as he fades
leaves you to your darkness once more
but in that skin of yours
you will forever remain untouched
folded
blind to the world
broken
but unspeakably Beautiful.
