Urban jungles

Updated on May 23, 2011

Urban jungles
the place to be
Cities where wild
animals roam free

Urban bears
coyotes and the moose
Alligators and
Kangaroos

Their natural home
got taken away
And now they have to
forever stray

Their trees are now
telephone poles
Their prey is hidden
inside city homes

Adapting to
the human way
Leaving them homeless
with no place to stay

Amen! Humans keep encroaching on the natural habitats of many animals and then complain when a wild animal is in the backyard. It is unfair to both the predatory animals whose huntings grounds have been removed and to the domestic animals that become the prey. The blame lies with us!
