The house of my dreams
Is far away from city noise, and free of pollution
small and tidy, tranquil and secure

In a valley where there is a stream
Nature abounds and free of intrusions
The house of my dreams

Nature abounds and colors of yellow, purple and greens
hills and slopes, hopping creatures with caution
small and tidy, tranquil and secure

Murmuring evenings, horizons through steams
Endless chants, amicable voices call out my attention
The house of my dreams

Big ears searching rabbits, dodging the weeds
In the stream an intruder, me with precaution
small and tidy, tranquil and secure

After sunsets, nothing lasts through the slit
Inside, the souls partake with conviction
The house of my dreams
small and tidy, tranquil and secure

I am a huge fan of the Villanelle a hard poem to work out. The repitition needs to be perfect, and saying this I would also like to point out that you did a fine job. Thank you for sharing. Jamie

I'm not sure dreams rhymes with secure, but the rules sometimes need to be broken for us to get our message across. Great poem nonetheless, Jose Juan.
