I am the pen that scribes your dreams;
The Voice that enjoys the eloquence of speech.
I am the Breath of Silence, lost in the depths of my equipoise;
I build My Palaces of Love,
As a Song-bird, in the seeds of the Heart.
Together we gaze at the firmaments,
Have fun with the beauty of nature on crimson clouds.
We stand mesmerised by My Love’s reverential awe,
And dance with the twilight, while walking My dawns.
I am the rose, and the sacrifice of its fragrance.
I am the blooming bud, and the kernel from whence it came.
You will find me in the rain, that replenishes the parched Earth;
I will remain its murky colours,
Long after retreating, into the Silence of the Heavens.
I am the ripple of the water, enmeshed in my own mystery.
I sing of Love’s longing; the emancipation of Life;
And stand as a Wayfarer,
Even while unfolding, the Freedom of the Soul.
I’m charmed by new horizons; in the radiance of the Sun.
The innocent unveiling clouds, the magnets of the morn;
In the distance we see gadgets, playing with the dawn.
I am in evil; in the vicissitudes of life.
I am in struggle; in the very core of Strife.
For my many Lovers, the cross is comfort to behold,
How else can they conquer, the dark fetters of the Soul?
So as you stand in admiration, gazing at the sea,
Know you’re in my Essence, and your beauty lies in Me.

~Word-crafted Wisdom. Awakening the Inner Light ~
Taken from Love Poems of Rumi
A moment of happiness,
you and I sitting on the verandah,
apparently two, but one in soul, you and I.
We feel the flowing water of life here,
you and I, with the garden's beauty
and the birds singing.
The stars will be watching us,
and we will show them
what it is to be a thin crescent moon.
You and I unselfed, will be together,
indifferent to idle speculation, you and I.
The parrots of heaven will be cracking sugar
as we laugh together, you and I.
In one form upon this earth,
and in another form in a timeless sweet land
