Vivian - My Impressions At Dawn

Updated on July 20, 2013

My Impressions At Dawn

Heaven and earth seem to turn upside down
So is my daily day
I feel lonely in my boredom
What are the causes
that influence my physiology and psychology?
There are two reasons.

My poor health is the first reason.

My life, when I was born until now,
is deeply attached to the hospitals
Time flies
My childhood passed
My youth comes
I am always in and out the hospitals,
where have the white walls
I wonder:
Why the walls of the hospitals
were painted the white color?
This thing is weird, isn’t this?

I also see the world has the same color with the hospitals,
as it appears in my eyes, through my lap top’s screen.
Under my sight,
the real life of human beings’ society,
and the illusive space of the internet are the only universe.
Truly, my comparison is not the best thing.
But I think so.

The second reason is my sensitive heart.

My sensitive heart feels sad,
when I know clearly
The language of some one else
always carry two meanings
One is good. Another is bad.

Supposing some people mean,
they will do the best things,
and nothing but the best,
for the poor and innocent persons.
But their actions are opposite.

They take advantage of the miserable persons’ lives
for their own ambition
By the way,
they make full use of their positions to do wrong.
What the heartbreaking thing!
How can my heart over come this harsh reality?

Every day,
dawn comes with its fresh and splendid landscape
Looking at the immense sky, the free winds, and the delicate clouds
Listening to the wonderful sounds of the bird-songs
Hearing the flowers’ sweet voices, the leaves’ melodious whispers
I learn many marvelous lessons from them.

And Nature, my wise and great master,
teaches me the eternal value
The eternal value is:
The Truth and The Justice are always perfect.

Nature also emphasizes that:
The Perfect Truth and The Perfect Justice
come from human beings’ generous hearts.

Even though
people’s lives are rich or poor,
people’s health are strong or weak,
they will be protected
by The Perfect Truth and The Perfect Justice.

And even though
people’s destinies are free or not,
people’s destinies are happy or not,
people’s destinies are safe or not,
They will be protected
by The Perfect Truth and The Perfect Justice

At dawn,
I remember Pastor Martin Luther King’s famous essay:
His tearful human words make me cry:

“….I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted,
every hill and mountain shall be made low,
the rough places will be made plain,
and the crooked places will be made straight,
and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together.

Let freedom ring from the snow capped Rockies of Colorado!
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California!
But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!
Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

When we let freedom ring,
when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet,
from every state and every city,
we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children,
black men and white men,
Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics,
will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual,
"Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
