WARNING: (Sad Song) She Broke My Heart

Updated on September 14, 2016

(Sung In My Own Words) She Wilted My Flowers

No Pain No Gain

I had a girl, once upon a time,

We were so in love, the love was so fine,

We shared a few years together,

We even shed tears together

Cause what she felt, I felt,

I thought that we were meant to be,

Then one day she went away

To get her college education

And the last I saw of her

Was on her day of graduation,

She turned to me and said,

“I'm sorry But I don't love you anymore,"

I couldn’t believe it

She broke my heart

As she walked out that door,

Well, I felt devastated

But somehow, I made it,

So now I let my mind guide my heart

It won’t again be torn apart

And if I tell someone I love you

I’ll just be sure she loves me too

Cause when she went away

To get her college education

And the last I saw of her

Was on her day of graduation,

She turned to me and said,

“I'm sorry, But I don't love you anymore," I couldn't believe it

She broke my heart as she walked out that door

Oh, she said "I'm sorry baby, but I don't love you anymore"

With flowers in my hand, she broke my heart as she walked out that door

It Happens Sooner Or Later

What A Broken Heart Does For You

The best relationship happens after having a broken heart. If one remains or becomes faithful, prayerful and positive then a broken heart shall be overcome. A broken heart doesn't happen in vain. You can regroup and love better again and In fact with a bang!

How Can You Help Your Child Avoid A Broken Heart?

You simply cannot. A child is attracted to someone according to what the child has experienced, need and desire. No matter how you try to raise or rear your child, you can not help the child avoid getting a broken heart. However, you can be there for the child afterwards to help the child, young adult or grown up to understand and to put trust and love into Jesus Christ and God because the spiritual aspect will give extreme strength to the person to overcome such an atrocity.

Al, you are a fabulous singer! How painful are the lyrics. You are strong. Things happen for a reason; for the good only.

Hey James-wolve, you sounded like an expert. You should be a relationship counselor.

I was curious if you ever thuhgot of changing the structure of your site? Its very well written; I love what you've got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. You've got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

Mhatter99, I thank you for stopping by and commenting. You heard one of my most sensitive compositions ever done. It took me a long time to release this one. It's been over some years since this happened to me. Thank God I had gotten over it.

Thank you clover4 for your comment, this is one of my masterpieces. Of course, it was about my 2nd broken heart as a young adult that was difficult to get over. Something I didn't expect. However, I made a song of it.

Life can often be characterized as going through experiences that help define you and allow you to grow. That exposure has helped you to grow and be the Person you are now.

You got through that "love" challenge and are better for it, knowing now that Love has Cogent Value, but only when returned.

One way love Never has a Partner,,,,,,,,Just Saying!

you warned me. It is a sad song. However, if there is any truth to it, you've got to put it behind you. You can become consumed with your past experience and miss out on the present. I have more to say on this subject , however, maybe later. O, by the way, the lyrics are well arranged and that sounds like you singing. Nice singing voice.

I like it, it tells a sad but romantic story in a way.

It shows the feelings deep in your heart at one time.

      Great song/poem

      Blessings

Being rather naïve (even in my adult age), I tend to believe what someone tells me. So, you can imagine, my heart has been broken more than once. I have learned (later rather than sooner) it was all for the best. So I keep on keeping on.

Sending blessings and much warmth your way,

      Kim

As Alfred Lord Tennyson says: Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

God had an other plan for you. Now,i think you are mighty fine and stronger than before .

Thanks James-wolve. It happened and I think your conclusion was right. When one goes away to college they are exposed to a lot more of life. Until she went I was her life, her everything. Oh well, it put my reality in check. However, I'm glad it happened when it did.

Oh My God!What she did to you was horrible.I wonder what kind of heart she got within!!I think before she went to college you were her priority but after graduation you became in her eyes an option. She thought you didn't fit her expectations.
