WITHOUT FRIENDS

Updated on September 8, 2012
Source

Without friends a person would be lonely in a full room of people.

No one to talk to about things important to them.

No one to share their good times or their bad times,

Just an existance for which a mind can dwell.

Without friends to tell our troubles to we become sanile.

We make mountains out of mole hills.

Friends are the strength we depend on.

They offer different views of advice.

With a shoulder to lean on from a friends,

Our problems are only unsolved by self pity.

We build up emotions of unjustified thoughts.

Source

We find peace and calmness in our hearts.

Where we find friends depends entirely on us.

Our family members can fill this vacancy,

If we have no other way to fill it.

A pet can be a friend that listens with no complaints,

Who will provide companionship rewardingly.

An unconditional love for a lasting friendship,

A heart filled acquaitance that is cherished forever;

For as long as we both shall live.

Very true. A good friend who will stand by you through thick and thin is worth 10 times their weight in gold.

Those who just walk by i times of need are not really friends at all.

Love the image of course, for these guys are always our true friends, love us unconditionally, don't talk back or make us feel bad for no reason at all!

Friends are there through thick and then (sorry, a bit cliche) but I prefer a few good friends to an abundance of good time pals. A friendship is an investment of time and caring that develops over time, if lucky they last but we all need a good friend or two, just to get through! Great hub topic Diana! Enjoyed this! Rated up!

I've done many poems over the years, this was my first attempt of doing one without rhyme, so glad you enjoyed it.

An ode to friends, yes. Without them life would be so much less. And my animal friends are the best, never a word of censure just unconditional love.

      Thanks Diana.
