Walking a Little Slower

I will walk a little slower my child for there are something’s I need you to hear even in these tender years, I must prepare you.

These streets we walk sometimes are not safe, so keep your eyes open and your mind sharp wherever your steps take you.

Follow Me my child...

Be vigil, be alert and let your steps always be laced in respect for others.

Take God on your journeys.

Acknowledge His Presence in All Things My Child, for None is Greater than The Creator…

I will walk a little slower My Child…

I want to see the expressions of park playing in your beautiful face.

I want to savor your laughter as you swing into things…

I want you to;

Always Feel Secured...

Always feel Love...

Always feel Protected...

Always believing in God...

I will walk a little slower My Child...

My Future lies in You...

I had to break a lot of Mental and physical Chains.

Chains that came in many disguises slowed me but didn’t stop me because my mind is as strong as my faith.

I Wish I could keep you in your innocent state, far away from the true realities that lie in wait for you.

Away from prejudice, indifference, racism and other legions that openly and secretly Wage War Against Humanity.

I will walk a little slower My Child

To Teach You

To Learn From You

To Show a Parental Hand that Understands that I Am One Of Your First Teachers...

Your first sentence is a beautiful attention-getter; it makes a great beginning. A very worthy message for your child!
