Was In His Eyes (poem)

Updated on February 24, 2014

Was in his eyes where she had lost her heart

What promises of ever lingered there

Was here where dreams of pleasure had their start

And made her soul a toy amid the air

Was in those eyes of endless Joys fulfilled

Surrender took on meaning of its own

She feeds on needs of moments they instill

An instance blossoming for her alone

All other worlds now fade into a mist

As starlight ruled the magic of the night

For there her ever after would exist

His eyes his arms his kisses her delight

And where was she when darkness ending wrote

Was in his eyes as teeth were at her throat

Creepy, yes, from the image on, but well written.

While you are looking for dreams within someone you end up with something you did not expect! I like it!

      Super poem, M!

She gave herself to a lifetime, in the darkness of the night.

"What piercing eyes you have.....oh sorry I meant fangs." Creepy vampire poem, very well written.
