We Can Continue To Open Up

Updated on September 30, 2013

Time Heals

We all want to enjoy our life

What we do while on earth makes the difference

The people that we love have made a lasting influence

After their gone it is up to us to hold onto their memories

Keep finding ways to brighten our days

We know every day is a new chance

Moving on doesn't come easy

The rewards are many and the losses make us refocus

Accepting what is and changing our future

Seeing the whole picture instead of being overwhelmed by any one part

Gives us strength and pleasure

In whatever direction we shall follow

Wonderful sentiments. I also believe that those we have loved and they pass on stay near us and watch over us and will be there to guide us if needed.

Nellieanna I received your comment and posted it. I am not sure why I can't post from a laptop. Then I found it again in my comment section under my story but not listed under comments.I would never delete any comments because each hubber teaches me things I never knew before. The more I talk about my struggles it leads me to challenge my old reasons and search for new choices. It is always exciting to see your visits. Have a great night.

My comment from the other day seems to have disappeared from your comment thread, Dream On. If it matters, here is a copy I kept of it:

Very true and a good overview of one of life's biggest challenges: going on when one has lost a loved one. It happens and it can be turned into either a hopeless gloomy resignation or a demonstration of real faith and a celebration of the life that had been lived. Still, it is not easy. If it were, I suppose we'd be less human-hearted.

Ho Dream On, lovely poem. Voted up and beautiful. I agree with you we are solely responsible for keeping memories of our departed loved ones alive. Thanks for inspiring and reminding us.
