We Will Make It ,With Or Without You

Updated on March 31, 2013

We are the newly-budding flowers in the Arab spring time.
Though the world like to watch us bleeding,
Dying in silence
We will not give in
We are here standing
Thousand years
Strong and true.
So ,set loose the vicious dogs,
The dirty-ass hyenas maruading
Among the smoke
In the rubbles
Collaborating with
The bloody butchers
In high-octane drive and efficiency
Slitting throats
Cutting hands
We will not give in
Nor will we lick boots
Instead,
We will grow back with an unforeseen
Kind of strength.
Our petals may seem weak,
But the stem that holds our
True self remains, untouched and unmaimed
We will stand against the the international dark forces
That strive in a mystery plot to break us,
and we will not succumb to the pressures
Or get frightened if we stay alone on the trench
Years of oppression and phobia are gone once Dara shouted:Freedom
Like Wallace in his last moments
So,let the thug regime throws us to its vain gods as lambs
Like steel so resilient
We will return and make it, with or without you.

Basically my dear friend and most esteemed colleague, I suppose we need a balance in life between people and different schools of thought but I am a lazy apathetic (perhaps ignorant) person who is definitely apolitical. In a 100 years from now or even 1000 years if 'we' last that long on this planet earth we'll still be fighting each other somewhere in this world (but that said , fighting for independence is a noble honorable brave thing to do and quite often the only thing you can do)

History and mankind was barbaric back in the day , probably even more so but there are a lot of things in this today's age we could improve upon and learn from past mistakes instead of always taking one step forward then two steps back.

I so do admire your passionate sincere and evocative writing here. Words have the power to move and touch and change people more than anything else - you are a freedom fighter (as a writer/poet) and that is a beautiful thing to see and read.

If you are sad my friend in your life right now I sincerely hope things turn around for you and that you can accentuate the positive. I suffer from situational depression and anxiety so I know these feelings of sadness which affect me as well.

Sending you warm wishes and good energy from Colin and his cats, Tiffy and Gabriel while drinking some nice coffee at 1:05pm lake erie time ontario canada

Oh My dear Epiman ,You left me with nothing to say.My heart now is uplifted. Thanks for sweet words and encouragement .My life is no longer like before .I have a lot of burdens to carry. Many problems to solve, not only mine but others as well and after all,I easily feel angry and depressed when things dont go the way I want.Really this is not the life that I want to live or planned to live.It seems the tide was so strong to swim against.I really want to have an inner peace and wish all people live in peace.Obama says to world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in 2011: Peace is hard.Progress can be reversed. Prosperity comes slowly. Societies can split apart. ... And we have more work to do.

Yes more work to do ,it is true that some tyrants are toppled in the Arab uprisings ,but still there are ....we need to be positive and work hard.

      Thanks Colin once again!
