We are Yin and Yang

Updated on March 7, 2013

The Balance of Yin and Yang

Source

We are Yin and Yang

We are the sound

We are the vision

We are the pound

We are the mission

We are the romance

We are the world

We are the plants

We are the swirl

We are the sun

We are the day

We are the fun

We are the play

We are the dream

We are the sorrow

We are the scream

We are tomorrow

We are the love

We are the right

We are above

We are the light

We are the dark

We are the night

We are the lark

We are the flight

We are the joy

We are the pain

We are the coy

We are the sane

We are the one

We are the all

We are the gun

We are the call

We are the round

We are the height

We are the ground

We are the kite

We are the good

We are the shame

We are the wood

We are the flame

We are the Sin

We are the Saint

We are the Yin

We are the Yang

I read you; poem and comments together complete this picture.

My sense of yin and yang - captured in a short poem I wrote some years ago:

      I am the inner curve

      Which fits

      The outer curve

      Of you.

      Hi W. K. Hayes,

An awesome and thoughtful poem about Yin and Yang. Whole universe existence is all because of balance.

~Sometimes you have to use your failures as stepping-stones to success. You have to maintain a fine balance between hope and despair. In the end, it's all a question of balance. ~Rohinton Mistry

      Thumbs up.

The reason I love the number 3 is this:

      The first part is:

      Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding

It takes those three things to have any kind of success in life.

      The second three are:

      Discipline, Determination and Dedication

It takes those three to stay focused on what is important

      And the third one is:

The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit

They serve as constant reminders in the importance of faith. Not only in the belief of Christianity but faith in oneself. If a person lacks faith in themself, they will never taste of success.

      Hence...the three 3's.

My daughter and I love the yin/yang symbol. The cool thing about this is that neither side is all good, or all bad.

This was a beautiful poem-reflecting the meaning of yin/yang very well!

Oh, and I clicked on your advertisers so they won't be so lonely.

Thank you, by the way, for becoming my 100th follower. That is SUCH a huge deal for me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

In other words... we are everything, we simply need to see it in ourselves and choose which parts to explore and expand! Very good.

      Sometimes less is more.

I liked your poem a lot!

Hi Shyla's Nana...I am a creature of balance and I like to try the balance in all things. Still, I have a feeling msot of my readers prefer the happy, hopeful side of me. So...I focused on balancing my Chi and getting back to making my readers happy. :-)

WOW. They need more buttons to click on to cover your poetry lol. One just doesn't seem to cover it. This is awesome, beautiful, WOW, etc. because words fail me at this time. This pic would make a great tattoo and I am sure the person that created it thanks you for giving credit where it is due. You are an awesome man. Thanks for sharing so much of you with all of us. Take care.
