Web Surfing Poem
Web Surfing by daryl seldon
Trolling for that idea that will make life oh so sweet again
That nugget of pure informational bliss
Click click, see read, sea reed, it’s all there somewhere
Maybe misspelled or misinterpreted
The offspring of some ancient volume written by some isolated pre-net primitive
Inspired by mundane nature, green and brown
Or poisonously colorful like a plant not to be eaten or a lizard not to be bothered.
Some artistic genius who finally snapped from the boredom of daily life
And forced some meaning out of a deep deep depression.
But some vulgar idea goes swimming down my neurons
Like a frenzied electron rushing down the line so certain
It’s part of some worthy truth.
