We'll Cement Our Closeness in Tomorrow's Golden Sunrise. A Sonnet.

Updated on February 22, 2017

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

It all happened very quickly.

I reached out to You; You reciprocated.

Then our Hearts merged and became One.

Like the advent of mutually loving Samskaras,

We seem to share a cosmic connection.

Come! I see the dancing willow,

Shedding its seeds with the Zephyrs;

Watching as they spring forth,

Into more precious plants in season.

So too, my Love, we’ll cement our closeness,

Now or in another time and destiny,

Leading each other, like the willow and its seeds,

Into a better, brighter, ever-illumining promise,

Of tomorrows’ golden sunrise.

With my Eternal Gratitude,

Ha ha ha. It's taken a long time for this question to come. I actually expected it from the girls, though, a long time ago. See, one never knows. I am always in love, bro. Like Beyonce, I'm in a drunken haze. Inebriated with the wine of crimson roses, I know neither my name, nor whence I came.

Lost in the Bliss of the infinite, I bask in the Delight of an effulgent Light. Om Shanti!!

I see you've been busy again, mass-producing sonnets in one day. Sigh! I'll try to get to the other two, but time is limited today. I'm heading out the door to my other job. Anyway, nobody does these tributes better than you, my friend. Love and friendship shine with every word you write.

I compare this to my strong love of nature, and the ultimate joy that it brings me. It makes me rise above the ground and I am permitted to see what is normally not meant for human eyes. I am so fortunate to have been given this gift, as have you, dear friend.

Surabhi's a very lucky lady, Manatita. She can wallpaper her bedroom with all the beautiful poetry you've dedicated to her and she has inspired in you!

Is there something more we should know?????? :-)
