Wellness-Shmellness

Superiorly average wife & mommy of 3 adorable, funny, & smart offspring, diabetic extraordinaire since 1982, and ninja wellness advocate.

I can top that guy!

I love to read other bloggers' blogs. I'm looking at bloggers who make in excess of $150,000 a month. A MONTH. That's $5000 A DAY. I could do wonders starting with my own family, friends, etc with an income like that. I have a cousin who lives in a not-so-marvy area of Philly. His kids live in a neighborhood that's high crime, dirty, unsafe and yucky. I don't want them living there and I always vowed if I ever won the lottery (I don't play the lottery) the first thing I would do is move him out of that neighborhood. I wouldn't buy a new house or a new car or go on a vacation first, I'd get him and the kids out of that neighborhood. I haven't had a vacation since my honeymoon in October of 2008. I could use a getaway.

What else would I do with $5000 a day? Gosh... I can't even fathom that much money. I'd be happy to make $5000 a month. Seriously. But with $5000 a day, I could be pretty powerful. I could pick something to do each day of the month, pick an organization to donate to, could pay my neighbor's electric bill, could buy all of the police and fire fighters' lunches and dinners for that week, I could put money in all the students' lunch accounts in my daughter's elementary school. The possibilities are endless! I am the person who is going to change the world one morale at a time. I am going to make sure people know that the world doesn't have to be an evil place full of selfish people. I want to do this. This is why I am going to blog my heart out. This could happen to me. When it does, I will show others how to blog and bring them success.

My Passion

So the wellness-shmellness part of my article is not a direct reflection of how I actually feel about wellness. I love wellness. It's what I do: help people attain wellness. This is what I think will make me successful. I have been in this business since 1998 and I'm so stinkin' passionate about it. I have seen lymphatic drainage extend the life of a Cancer patient. I have seen cranio-sacral therapy adjust a person's body after a car accident. I have seen amazing things, I have been the recipient of these amazing things, and I have been the one to administer these amazing things. Massage therapy, wellness, and the power of positive thinking are a crucial part of a life. My dream is to open up my own Wellness Center. I am 43 years old and have had the thought that "if it hasn't happened by now, it's probably not going to happen". I believe in the power of positive thinking, and I believe in the power of prayer, and if I am wishing this for the right reason, for unselfish reasons, then who's to say it won't happen? Maybe this blog will make it happen.

Let me tell you about my Wellness Center. It's called "The Crysalis" because it will allow you to emerge into a whole new you. You will come to my Wellness Center broken, damaged, wrinkled, or marred in some way and you will become repaired, ironed out and refurbished. It doesn't happen overnight, and some people don't have deep pockets that would be needed in other's centers. My center is geared toward everyone. Those with money, those without money, those with great health coverage, those with no coverage. Everyone deserves wellness, and I am the one who is going to provide it. Everyone deserves a chance to feel well. I want to be the one who offers you that chance.

The Chrysalis would have massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, Ayurveda, nutritional counseling, personal trainers, and anyone else who could give a person a good chance at wellness. Because of the industry I'm in, I know a lot of people who fit in the categories mentioned above and they will all have jobs if they accept my offer to be a part of my Wellness Team and they will be compensated accordingly and treated with love and respect.

I'm looking forward to achieving my goal. My goal date is January 1, 2017. Let's see how far I can come in 5 months.

If I can dream it, I can achieve it. What I think about, I bring about. YES.

I start each morning I wake up with a genuine smile. For one, it starts my day on a positive note. Secondly, I WOKE UP.

Polls are cool, so here's one for you!
