What Is Your Chinese Zodiac Animal?

In Chinese Astrology there are 12 Animals in the Chinese Zodiac which in turn follow a 12 year cycle. There is a year given to each specific Animal in each 12 year cycle, as of 2012 you may heard that it is the year of the Dragon!

It is believed people take on a certain character due to their Animal Sign which is based on their birth year. Every year has its own an Animal Sign and this cycle repeats, for every 12 years we have the same Animal appearing again, for example if you were born in 1940 you would be a Dragon but you would also be a Dragon if you were born in 1952.

Those born under the Rat are clever, highly attractive and charming.

In that sense they may forgive you but it will take them much time to do so. Pigs love to seek a further meaning to everything and love to be the best at many things. Compatible with Rabbit or Goat.

      Interesting! I'm a rat which sounded bad till I read it. Then I realized that none of the animals sound very appearling. It all seems a bit incompatible with the familiar Zodiac where I'm an Aries (the Ram) but not in Chinese astrology. Probably this predates the other though?
