What Peace May Come
In your most quiet of times, what do you think? Do you allow yourself silence? What peace may come in each moment? The moment now is when you open your heart and allow the earth's elegance to touch your heart.
I am moved so effortlessly by everything. I see wholeness now and I see the world as one. I wish I could stay in this state all the time. It's my time to retreat when I connect to oneness. Feel a pleasant emptiness. Watch the void. Do you see the world between the breath? That moment when the lungs empty, pause, and then fill with air. The breath, a simple act, is the life force of all that walk the earth.
Be mindful. Every moment is truly a treasure. Listen to the silence. Surrounding that grand silence I hear the rhythm of a crew of men with hammers, and behind that vibration are men creating. Now I listen to all the kids expressing joy in the loudest way running around playfully. Know with love they are being kids without restraint. Watch the baby's breath. Know his contentment.
Feel your own quietness as you walk in the the world. Do not let the mind create madness by thinking. Just be gentle and tender. Feel the world open, leaving behind all judgement of good or bad. The heart opens expanding to the vastness of space and surrenders to emptiness. Form and formless kiss with kindness.
What peace may come if we allow the vulnerability of this moment just to be as it is. Conflict requires resistance of any kind. An open heart gives birth to joy, love, happiness, and forgiveness. Forgiveness requires the utmost compassion. How can conflict prevail against open hearts? The open heart of the highest kind, with love and trust, allows the world to be.
