What Was Done On Calvary Hill? - A Song

Updated on August 13, 2014

What was done on Calvary Hill?

Nailed His hands and feet to a cross.

A bleeding God, a law to fulfill.

Praise His name and give heed to His will.

Who was this man who bled for our sins?

E'en though He was sinless man!

These pains He bore, for His earthly kin,

He died to save the children of men.

What pain he felt as he bled from his pores?

"Father from me, remove this cup."

To this end, our Savior was born,

"Not my will, I will do yours."

What was done on Calvary Hill?

Nailed His hands and feet to a cross.

A bleeding God, a law to fulfill.

Praise His name and give heed to His will.
