What You Did to Me That Night

Updated on February 24, 2014
Source

What can you do

To make me fall in love with you?

What can you say

To make me feel that way?

What can you hope to spark

To truly hit that mark?

Is it the things you do to me

Tonight?

Peach colored roses,

Dark Lindt chocolate imposes

A song of promises of love

A setting on a mountain from above?

I pick you up and carry you away

These aren’t just words simply meant to say

How I really feel so deep inside

Yet, only you can decide.

What can you hope to spark

To truly hit that mark?

Was it the things you did to me

Last night?

We moved those mountains

And the rolling seas

We created thunder

And a warming breeze.

The mood was set and undeniable

And now you’re pliable

And you’ll be mine tonight

(Tonight, and every night)

Love is a sentinel

Making you sentimental,

And what is the crux

Going to be for us?

What did you hope to spark

To help you hit that mark?

Was it what you hoped to do to me

Every night?

Glad to hear it, Howard. A healthy body equates a healthy mind. We can never start our regimen too young.
