Summer Reading List

Reading is a great past time it can be limitless, everyone knows you can get lost in a book. Who has a summer reading list now or did you have one when you were younger? What books are on it now? Most people are swayed towards the most up and coming book that they find at the library, online or at their local bookstore. When I posed the same question to my friends on social media, I got answers like The Divergent series, Game of Thrones, Fifty Shades of Grey and The Mortal instruments. Now the question I want to ask you is what is on your summer reading list and how do you prefer to read the books that you choose to put on your list? Do you prefer to read, Paperback, Hardcover, or do you prefer reading them on an iPhone through iBooks or on an E-reader?

When I think of my summer reading list, I look at all the books that I have, at home already that I haven't read I am currently reading two different series this summer. One on my iPhone and the other is a paperback. I prefer the paperback books over reading on my iPhone but when I forget the book and am at an appointment and have to wait, or in the car and I feel like reading, that is when I pull my phone out and read an e- Book or the i-book that I have on it. The two books I am reading are Game of Thrones Storm of Swords ( in paperback) and Reflected in You (i-Book).

I know what you're probably thinking, that these are two completely different books. Yes, I am reading two different genres, of books and no I don't get confused when I am reading them because I am reading them at different times. What types of books do you read and do you read more than one, book at a time? What is on your summer reading list? Do you tell yourself that you are going to read a number of books before the summer is over or do you just read a few books in hopes of finishing them before the summer is over?

My summer reading list consists of finishing the Game of thrones series. I am determined to finish it even though I didn’t start it in the summer but rather in November. I am determined to finish it along with the last book in the Mortal Instruments series. I finished all the other Mortal Instruments books in January and I thought the series was over until I found the latest book which is titled Mortal Instruments: the City of Heavenly Fire, the sixth book in the series which was not featured in the Mortal Instruments box set I had previously purchased. The last time I went to the mall, however, I did purchase two other books that are on my reading list as well, Scandalous Liaisons which is a Silvia Day novel. I've previously enjoyed a lot of Silvia Day's books but I haven't gotten around to reading this one yet. The second book is Up in Flames by Lori Foster. As you can see I am not really reading the same genre of books throughout. Does that bother me you ask? Honestly, No I don’t really get books because of the genre or series. I will sometimes follow the same genre if it follows a certain series, but other than that I usually follow authors I like and purchase as many books as I can buy them. I will sometimes even buy a book because the title catches my eye.

Summer Reading can be Limitless

Summer reading lists are great to have because there are two months in which you are not in school and you can devote a lot of time to reading as a past time. It is great to have a summer reading list because it keeps your mind active and you busy without staring at screens all the time. But we all should go outside once in a while in the summer. It is great to have a summer reading list to keep up your reading even when you aren't in school. What is on your summer reading list?

The books that are on my summer reading list are Game of Thrones book three and four, Mortal Instruments book six, Up in Flames, Scandalous Liaisons, Reflected in you and Entwined with you. Yes it is a long list and maybe I won’t get to them-them all during the summer months but I am determined to finish at least four of them. What is on your summer reading list? The options are limitless. Do you have a different set of reading material for the summer or does it not matter? Some people might have a different type of reading material for the different seasons, and others might not it just depends on the person. Now that the summer is over I am reading a crime series by Tami Hoag which is pretty interesting. What is your favorite series of books to read and do you read often? Do you actually make up a summer reading list and read those books in the summer?

Do you pick a series of books to read during the two-month break or the four-month break of summer? Depending on if you are in high-school or college, and if you don't do you still pick a series of books to read when you are off of work during the summer? Have you ever finished a series in the summer and then started a new series. or is the series that you are reading in the summer so long that feels limitless? I have read a series in the summer that felt so long it was limitless but not recently.

Summer reading lists can be limitless in a sense that they might not last all summer but through until the winter months depending on the length, of the series of books is that you are reading or how many different series that you read in two months. Most of the time my summer reading list lasts through at least the first month of fall depending on how fast I read a book.

Summer reading lists can be limitless because each person reads at their own pace. Which means when you talk to someone who has a summer reading list it might be different from yours because of how fast you read, as I said before. My summer reading lists always change because of that factor but I am always reading so my summer reading list is always long and it never finishes. Are you a reader like that?

Summer reading lists can be limitless

Summer reading lists can be limitless depending on how fast that you read. The books that I have listed in this post have already been read and now I have another summer reading list and I know that it won't take me long to get through them. I have five more books to read until I am finished all the books in my house, and those are the ones on my summer reading list, although I can't remember the titles, they are all close to the front of my bookshelf for easy access. The Book I am reading now is called, schooled in revenge, and I am hoping to have it done soon. I am a limitless reader which means my summer reading list is limitless because I read all the time.
