What can I Do to Win Your Love? Poems that Take us Back

Updated on September 24, 2012
Source

Can you tell me why?

have no reasons for this alibi

but I keep wondering how can I make it right?

where did I go wrong last night?

I know I was working every single day

you don't need to rub it on my face

falling sleep on you when I was so tired

extenuated and not ready to comply

I know its' been almost 18 years together

with so many wars fought forever

never trying to hurt each other

but now my heart is really aching

don't laugh but I have this kamasutra book

just checked it out and gave it a look

ouch!! the biggest slap on my face?

not funny for me or you Mary Jane

my cloths in a luggage outside that door?

is this a nightmare that I wasn't looking for?

you are calling your mother right know?

all my life down the drain with no doubt

can I mend all my wrongs?

do you think is too late

no you didn't, now you call 911

thought was enough with your mom

this poem was supposed to be the bomb

slapping faces and a heart that aches

dearest mom about to help you in your deeds

throwing my dreams, my undies to the streets

at least have time to take back this book

and try to get a free version from my nook

I admit I wanted to leave you long time ago

but i tried to stick with you through it all

advice from Kelly, Tammy, Sandra and Bill

their words that surely can save me from within

better go with Carl the critic to see tin-tin

not gay at all..if you know what I..

really mean!

For both sexes

Omg, this was so sad to read! Well all except the part about your undies in the street - THAT was funny :) I hope this didn't really happen to you. Such a shame to lose all those years.

Don't worry Linda..Everything is fine at home and at HP.

But we yhin you mean to say that the house will rock around midnight and that's good to throw away the bad feelings and some bad luck!

Wow.. a new side of Lord. Very intense, sarcastically funny.. I haven't been booted to the curb because I always stay under my own roof, but I have dealt with the Mommy issues.. I think you have inspired me to write a hub about Mama's boys. Thanks.. I hope you will find your underpants and your kamasutra book. :)

Is just a silly poem, based on actual facts and i can laugh at it. I see you laughing in that picture, so I got your message. No blonde jokes..ok!

One scene like this is unfortunately repeated every minute in every city most everywhere. Life's short we should all learn to live with each other. I liked this poem it's both cleaver and humorous.

    Thanks Gypsy Rose Lee,

This poem was just a creativity after watching the news, but added some of my own experiences and as usual added some humor at the end. Thanks again my friend and Happy New Year!

Ah, sorry. Never fun to be a dumpee (I feel you-- same here), but it is cathartic to get the "last word" by writing about your story. I believe everything happens for a purpose. It's up to us to find what the positive one is for the worst things that we go through. You're not alone, either way.

    Thanks for your comment Wonderful1,

This poem is just an inspiration and a great reliever. I can be funny and sad, Sarcastically enough to make you think and see it with a funny side. Thanks again!
