What do you want from love ? ...........Poetry

Updated on April 21, 2015

it come's in on cat's feet or goes away
in a super storm
It blinds a woman to her own emotional needs
but the needs of a man are born

we stand before a woman in silence for all
the words have been spoken
She'll try simply tears as a last resort
we'll use's her emotions as tokens

A man will just never get it she says
he says I know and I never will
Two hearts together carrying the water
but all they can do is spill

for all we know love just happens
there's no rhyme and even less reason
like snow falls for a winter's eve
and rain find's it's own season

yet this morning he awakens to the softer touch
of her round against his loins
he reaches to her shoulder and caresses
and love reawakens and rejoins

But then what do you want from love ?

      Lovely poem

      I loved these lines -

"..for all we know love just happens

there's no rhyme and even less reason

like snow falls for a winter's eve

and rain find's it's own season"

A truly wonderful work of art. It leaves me with wonderful sense. I suppose that sometimes love is really not illusive at all.
