What Will They Do (poem)
(An acrostic sonnet)
What will they do since now they’ve tried a kiss
How strange it is to have done this before
And never sensed perhaps there may be more
To pass this moment by would be remiss
-
What will they do since now doors open wide
Ignore it as a passing fantasy
Like all the other dreams that hoped to be
Lost forevers hidden deep inside
-
They search for something hidden in their eyes
Here hoping for some passage to the truth
Endearing dreams their memories of youth
Yet here and now what memory applies
-
Do they now share this single point if view
Of dreams as near as this what will they do
