What Is Truth (poem)

Updated on November 4, 2016

What is truth

Could you know it

Who would show it to you

Tell the truth

Can you admit

What you’ve admitted to

Could you find truth in a magazine

Is it hiding on some shelf

Is that truth or just a crazy dream

Could it even know itself

See the truth

From our sweet pit

So what pulpit is new

Would you find truth blaring in your face

Is that really what you see

Is your truth in someone else’s space

Would you even count on me

Know the truth

Don’t make it fit

What some outfit says do

Wonderful poetic words. At time the truth about something is there right in front of us we just have to recognize that and embrace it.
