What’s Cooking In His Mind (limerick)

Updated on August 24, 2013

When my son was learning to cook

I ran out and bought him a book

The mind of my sage

Was so hard to gauge

But he used each page to make gook

Hmm, did the chicken recipe page taste better than the soup recipe page? Quite a dilemma I'm sure.

      Voted up and funny.

      I love this one!!

My husband watches every cooking show on the food network and every other show concerning food. Then, he runs out and buys these cookbooks.

What's that? Does he try out these recipes, you ask?

      Well, NO!

So, I feel like putting all those cookbooks in a pot and boiling them

all day. Might try serving them up for dinner. Who knows, might be good given enough seasonings. Given that he puts hot sauce on everything, he would probably never notice. Ha, ha

      Great limerick, Martin.

Maybe you should have told him that cook books aren't meant to be cooked!
