When A Thought Gets Lost

Updated on November 17, 2010

Even With Modern Technology

I grasp for straws that I have dropped

I reach on over to a glass of spilled milk

I look ahead and know I had more thoughts celebrating inside of me

Where did they go?

Come out come out where ever you are ?

I want you to tell me what you hinted at earlier

For a quick second your thought came into being

It was just a fascade and the thoughts really weren't born

They were hatching as I tried to pick them up

The shell did break and the yolk started to seap

There will be no chicken where I wanted a little chirp chirp today

I thought it was time

But I was wrong and now the moment can not be undone

We have to embrace all the good that we have done

We have to look at the greatest times of them all

We must not be shaken by the events beyond our control

Who knows maybe all lossed thoughts will come back in our lives again

This time with new meaning and perfect timing

So now we can see that thought we missed

Was a blessing with a twist

Joy56 I heard we think some 10,000 thoughts a day.Thats alot of deleting. How many of those thoughts are old ones just brought forward to new light? How many are the greatest thoughts we ever thought???????Life is a miracle.Lets all appreciate it.

Poetvix I think we need a thought catcher and then we would never loose another thought.Maybe something like a butterfly net with all our thoughts caught in it.That would be great. The only problem is it hasn't been invented yet.No problem.I think I need more like a vacume cleaner to catch my thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

Great write. I can so relate to the feeling of thoughts at loose ends and just flittering off. Drives me crazy. Great job!

Darlene Sabella WHEN YOUR IDEA CATCHES UP TO MY IDEA PLEASE SHARE.I have days where I am all thoughts and thumbs..I guess it is better than all knotts. Then I would be tied up with nowhere to go.Now I am traveling far and wide.I have known for some time now I can't do it alone. It is time to let others in for the journey.I will give it time but you will see wonders I think that makes us different.I will show anyone how to carry a dream and live a better life.
