When All You Have Is Squashed Grapes
No Time To Think
You bought those grapes that looked so good
Somewhere from the grocery store to the house they changed color
They looked plump and delicious and I couldn't wait to eat them
The price was right
I think they were on sale
Then what happens next
You guessed it
They get pushed way in back of the refridgerator and forgotten about
Then someone says didn't we have grapes ?
Oh yeah they are in the refrigerator
There they are
I pull them out and something happens
They get washed and they don't have that nice juicy I want to be eaten look
They are squished from who I wonder ?
Not me not me you can hear in rapid fire
So throw them out my wife says
I say if they were good enough to buy they are good enough to eat
One by one I put that soft squishy a little bit mushy would be grape in my mouth
Determined not to waste them
I will teach myself a lesson to eat what I buy
I am learning the hard way
One bowl later
I try to convince myself they weren't that bad
No I know they were worse
On the verge of turning from bad to awful
Well this be a lesson to all those grape forgettors in the world
Put the grapes in the front and eat them soon or you might be like me
With a sour puss face and say please don't make me eat anymore
I had enough !!!!!
