When Anger goes Astray

When Anger goes Astray by Diana Pierce

Sorry doesn’t seem enough,

When anger goes astray,

Kind words erase the sour ones,

But silence rules your days.

Standing in the shadows,

Not bending either way,

Until you see more clearly,

Fogged thinking is to stay.

=================================================

Trust not your sense of turmoil,

The lies, the hurt, the pain,

Forget the absent struggles,

Of yesterday’s domain,

Try not to be offended,

As heart warm gestures win,

You try to do the rightful thing,

Your nerves are wearing thin.

===============================================

Lonely hearts seek refuge,

Being human won’t apply,

If voices within one’s mind,

Keep turning out the lies.

Family ties get broken,

Endless tries are set,

Shun the target steadily,

So you cannot forget.

      Anger leads to nothing good, better to forgive and forget. Great write with a message.
