When I Found The Christ
I could see but yet was blind,
fake support where my hands were tied,
and there was a day when my eyesight I find,
I found the Christ, my friend and guide.
I had lost my way,I don’t know why,
once my thoughts were choked with sigh,
but today under his wings I lie,
I do have my head held high.
Into the deep oceans I were to drown,
but the Christ with the Golden Crown,
brought me happiness, made me frown,
today my head never goes down.
Day and night I spent in plight,
it is He who has shown me what is right,
He is the cause of all my delight,
Christ is my savior, the lord is my light.
He held my hands and directed my toe,
His guidelines taught me where to go,
The Christ defeats my every foe,
I reap in joy , no matter what I sow.
Today for the Christ my life replenish,
joy and merriment on what I relish,
even hurdles I am bound to cherish,
Jesus will live and all will perish.
