When I Get To Heaven At The Pearlie Gates We'll Meet

Updated on June 14, 2012
Source

There are times when Life and Death can succumb us. We do not always understand what we cannot see. We know there is a place and there are others waiting on the other side. Writing these words have carved a pathway in a new direction for me. There isn't any pain or sorrow in Heaven. Although we are saddened here on Earth, by loss of a pet or loved one.

Writing the poem I am sharing was written in a matter of minutes. The words came from within my soul and the Holy Spirit kept pushing me to write the words that you will read.

Sometimes we do not always understand why things happen; but our faith will carry us through. Nobody has ever said it would be easy; but we have to keep pushing until we meet our loved ones again. Would they really want us to wallow and long for them after they are gone? No. They would hope that we would continue with our lives, just like they did when they lost ones they loved.

Our pets will also be waiting for us on the other side. So much happiness and joy where we are going If you are going through something in your life now, I hope the poem gives you comfort in knowing there really is something to look forward too.

When I Get To Heaven

When I get To Heaven,At The Pearlie Gates We'll MeetAll The People We Have Lost,And All Of Us Will Greet.I'll Hold My Child In My Arms,And Hold Her To My Cheek.

When I Get To Heaven,At The Pearlie Gates We'll Meet,Mom Will Take Me By The Hand,And My Dog We Will Greet.

When I Get To Heaven,The Streets Will Be Made Of Gold,God Has Already Carved A Path,And My Life It Will Unfold.

When I Get To Heaven,Through The Pearlie GatesI Will Pass, Nazoo Will RunTo Greet Me. My Daughter In My Arms, Mom And Dad Will Embrace Me And WelcomeMe Into Their Arms.

When I Get To Heaven,I Will Kneel Before The Lord.He Has Prepared A PlaceFor Me And Will ForgiveMe For Any Sin.He Will Welcome MeThrough The Pearlie Gates,And I Will Be Glad To Go In.

When I Get To Heaven,There Will Be No MoreSorrow, No More Pain. All Of The People I HaveLost And Loved Will BeGlad To See Me Again.

When You Get To HeavenAt The Pearlie Gates You'll Meet,Everyone You Have Lost So LookForward To The Greet.

Do Not Fear What You Do Not See,Many Have Already Gone. There Are Always With Us,While We Are Here On Earth. Looking From A Distance,And Patiently Waiting ForUs On The Other Side.

So While We Cry Our Tears,They Are Catching Them FromAfar .Holding On To Every DropAnd Keeping Them In A Jar.

So When We Get To Heaven,All The People We Will Meet. And We Will Release TheTeardrops From The Jar, And Will Find HappinessForever More.

AE - when my son and only child died the promise of meeting him in heaven was the only thing that helped me maintain my sanity. The pain is still there -- but so is the hope and faith. Beautiful poetry and touching sentiments -- congratulations on both your poetry and your faith. Best/Sis

AEvans, blessings to you, my friend. I am so glad you obeyed the Holy Spirit and wrote this. It will touch many. How sweet it will be to see those we miss so much.

This poem has touched me deeply and comes at an excellent time for me. Yesterday was my Mom's birthday and it's been ten years since she left us. I lost her to cancer and I don't think heaven became real to me until she left to go there.

Take care. Thank you so much for writing. I will share!

My granddaughter of 8 years old is currently for the first time in her life anxious about death. Somebody has told her that the end of the world will be in December...

Martie Coester: Tell her the world is not coming to an end in December that is a lie. Nobody knows what time, what day or what hour. It is written in the Bible. Heaven is a beautiful place and there is never any need to fear joy and happiness. All of us will meet and see our loved ones again and that is something all of us should look forward too. She may also like the story of when I actually went to heaven and I was able to be hear to write about it. It's attached to this hub. :)

Your beautiful poem speaks volumes from your heart. It is the ultimate hope - assurance - of every believer in Christ that Heaven will be more than we could humanly imagine. And...meeting loved ones there makes it additionally a precious hope. Thank you for your touching words. It seems so many have passed to eternity this year...My Mother died in March, and it seems that she is still at home waiting for my calls...though she is really waiting in Heaven for me...As a comment said, we never really 'get over it, we just get through it'.
