Try not to weep when the shadows are dense,

Or lament when the Heart seems void of Love.

As the ripe mango buried in the soil,

Eventually becomes a seed and rise again,

So too, a new dawn of sunrise, will

Kindle the Spirit, with beams of Light.

Mourners bury their dead in sorrow,

But in Heaven the minstrels sing their glories.

A black mist hovers over the darkness of the night;

Yet the moon unfolds the great beauty of the Light.

Try not to feel ‘done for’ by life’s pruning,

Or insecure though lack of tomorrow’s vision.

The immaculate Lilly dances in the wind,

As free as the fire-fly, lighting up the compass to the Soul.

Yet the charm and fragrance of supernal raiments,

Adorns the elegance of this celestial flower,

As hope blossoms in the wind.

Oh mind! Adversity is a veiled candle of the Divine.

Adversity

"Adversity makes you dynamic. Adversity forces your eyes wide open. Adversity teaches you the meaning of patience. Adversity endows you with faith in yourself. Adversity opens the secret door through which you can see the ultimate future fulfillment of God's Will." - Sri Chinmoy.

Beautiful piece, Manatita. Darkness never lasts for long once we learn to go inside and find the light. Adversity may come, but recedes when strength of soul overshadows and triumphs.

This is a very comforting poem, Manatita, especially for those times "when the shadows are dense".

I too, think this is one of your best! Sometimes it takes a void in your life for the heart to feel again. Beautiful as always...

A beautiful dose of encouragement and hope! I like the imagery in "Adversity is a veiled candle of the Divine." Thanks for sharing your gift of teaching through poetry.

This is one more beautiful message from you that I read today.

Patience is always needed, whether you are depressed or too much excited. Adversity in life tries to balance all these extremities. So, one should keep hope and wait with patience.

Thanks, my Brother, for this lovely message.

      Ha ha, my Friend Eric.

I was serious yesterday. Part of the plan. We cannot move forward without pruning. If you knew that I'll give you 100K every Friday, you may say "Great!" But only for so long. The Seer has the capacity to transmit what we need, but the Soul likes to have its own experiences in order to feel fulfilled. So the 'void' is a necessary part of the plan.

Thank you so much for appreciating my work.

      Hi Bill,

Yes, Bro, you were wrong. God's Light is not only in all but pervades all, even the rocks and stones. Think about 'omnipresence.' It is a very beautiful, yet profound word.

"The Earth is the Lord, and its fullness there of, and they that dwell there in it." -The Bible, KJV. I still need the blessing. Thank you so much!

I've only known one person who seemed incapable of love, and he proved me wrong the year of his death. I guess I don't know nearly as much as I think I do. :)

Blessings and love today and always

It is strange sometimes to not feel a darned thing in our human love place. I am glad it does not happen very often. I wonder if it just needs a rest. And always a challenge comes along to wake it from it's slumber.

Thanks this was really nice, I appreciate your sharing.
