When The Quiets Of The Night Echo So Loud

When the quiets of the night echo so loud
When there is nothing to lighten
My heaviness in my heart

And the shadows of yesteryears

Seem to return with vengeance

I blink as if I am trying to change a Chanel
Nothing is changing

My body quivers with fear

Of the sunrise to come , for what will it bring

Pining within my thoughts

Peace and joy seldom are dreamed

All I hear now are voices in my heart
speaking to me

Thump-Pound.... thump-pound..... with each beat

As if they were standing before me ,directing my life
My body quivers again , again

throughout the night

and as I have

given into all this

Thump-Pound....thump-pound .....

Then I quiver as if it were my last time

My mind ponders on the nostalgia

This time no fear
The windows of hope are opened
The morning breeze whispers through
Birds chant
A song many long to hear
The sunrise glistens across my dreams again
Giving me a love to live
As I lay here breathing
I hear each breath
In ....... Out ...... In
again and again
A calm comes to me
And my surroundings
awaken with the morning
Sunrise
A new day has come

Yes ! Yes !

Yesterday is sleeping

in the weeping willows and the branches

Of misfortunes and untimely fears

Still tangled as they may be

But they are sleeping at least
And I hope for a real long time

And if not I hope with each passing night
Only to hear the quiets of the night echo not so loud

So beautiful... I sense some hope here, though there is fear. Voted up.

A beautiful poem of fear, release and hope, matched with your images of turmoil and calm makes for an allround great hub. I relate to your words and like what I read. Thank you, my votes to you, graebear.
