Life is one thing for certain ... a challange
I sometimes think somethng is going to be easy and it isn't
I wonder why?
Then I say why should it be
Then everyone and their brother could do whatever they wanted and it wouldn't matter
For those who put the time and effort in
The rewards shall be there
Just not the way you think it is going to be
Life throws you a low and inside curve
You swing and a miss
S T R I K E !
You have to keep your eye on the ball
You have been reminded of that time and time again
Don't take your eye off the ball
Easier said than done
The second pitch a high one and you swung at it
STRIKE!
That is strike two
What were you thinking
You have to make the next pitch count
The third and final pitch...
A fast ball right down the middle
A swing and a miss
Strike three the game is over
Or is it really over
Can you come back another day and remember what you learned here today
You at least went down swinging
Maybe next time you will connect and out of the parrrrrrk!!!!!!

It is easy to go home and sulk and say why couldn't I of hit that ball
You can curse yourself and believe any number of reasons

You were outmatched
You were not concentrating
The sun was in your eyes
You don't feel good
You need more batting practice
You were asleep at the wheel
All of the above might be a little true
But who cares as long as it is you up at bat again
Trying your darndest to make it work
Well for all those sports fans who love a good game

Where no matter who is pitching and what pitch you throw
I am going to connect and the rest will make history
Pull up a seat it could take awhile
