Where Did All The Snow Go ?

Updated on December 27, 2012

I Found The Best Way To Make It Disappear

See If you can figure out what I did

The snow came down and I rolled over in bed covering my head

Hoping it would just vanish

A knock on the door and my neighbor went to get the snow blower

I forced myself up and dressed up in my snow suit and a hat and gloves

Bundled up I went outside and the wind lashed at my face and against my back

I grabbed a shovel and began to shovel off my steps and then around my car

With the snow piled high over my head I took my arm and pushed it off

As I took shovel full after shovel full there was always more snow

I heard the plow come and my neighbor plowed my drive way to the end

I seen how quickly the snow could be moved from one end to the other

Then I got the snow blower and went up and down the sides of my driveway to push the snow even farther and farther away

Off into the bushes and the trees

With the drive way finsihed and both the stairs and the car now clean

The snow still coming down

This time I can hear the snow hit the ground

It has turned to sleet I can feel the freezing rain and making all the snow even heavier

Piles to the left of me

Piles to the right of me

Snow in front and in back of me

The snow on the ground starting to rise again

I have to take a rest

I go in the house and my wife gives me left over ham from Christmas for my breakfast

Topped off with a nice hot chocolate

Now the time is 3:30 and my day has been all about snow

I come in and take my wet clothes off and hang them in the bathroom to dry

I sit down to rest a bit

Take two asprins so I don't get a headache from all the heavy lifting

An hour and a half have passed and I look out the window and all my snow is gone

How could it be ?

Where did it go ?

Do you know ?

That all the snow I tried so hard to move was finally gone at last

I dream come true

What do you think happened and tell me if this has ever happened to you ?

Right now we have patches of white here and there especially in the woods but other than that it's mud land. However they say a blizzard is on its way. lol

shiningirisheyes It can be good exercise in moderation.Don't over do it.Do you have a snow blower or know someone that can lighten the shoveling for you ?I am the same way.I go out in the morning and three hours later I come in from just shoveling.I would love to see some pictures of all the snow.Have a warm and relaxing night.

I wish mine would go away. I could ship you a great bunch of the white stuff! My back is broken from constant shoveling for the past two week, although it feels like years!!!!

Gypsy Rose Lee The truth is I looked out the window and it became dark so I could not see the snow.So In my mind it had to be gone. Now today is another day and I see it where I had left it.I hope it melts slowly too.How much snow do you have?Thanx for reading and sharing.

Interesting poem. Don't know about disappearing snow. We have some odd weather here. For days it snowed and now it's slowly melting away.
