Where I Go

I was floating, it felt good

No, Don't look down

Don't break the spell that

puts me back into the ground

I see the Light, as closer it comes

a warming sensation, He gives me a touch

I know where I'm going

He has told me so much

I see his face, he looks at mine

He opens my soul so he can see

Then reads the words, I want to hear

His love takes over and envelops me

Into a mound, The dirt is heaped

I see all the people that are gathered around

Is that really me

I see my body as it's lowered into the ground

But I'm not afraid of where I go

because the Lord will be with me

this He told me so.

That awkward moment when you realize youre dead... But this wasnt awkward at all. It was welcomed. and beautiful. Finally at peace and rest and knowing that where you go you will be safe with the Lord that is the best part of all. I only hope that when our time really does come it will be as simple and freeing as this.

You go! The poem flows well and stands on its own, but when one considers the depth, meaning, and truth of the message it really raises the bar. Most impressive!

      Cleaner3,

Beautifully worded, and it is so true, we should not fear where we are going. Because this lifetime on earth is just a prelude, until we go home.

This was so good and I voted beautiful, that I am going to read another one.

cleaner3, your poetry really speaks to my soul. This is stunning - the surreal ability to recognize death when it calls you, it's such a powerful feeling, I'm sure - and you seem to have captured it perfectly.

      I am speechless.

      Arch Angel,

You were somewhat correct. I don't 'like' this poem, I Love It!!!!! Have it framed and keep it over or close to your bed.

      Many Blessings, cleaner3!
