Where Can I Run (poem)

Updated on September 7, 2013

Where can I run from soulless prying eyes

Who searches every breath of me for more

Those shadows peering across times before

From bitter truth and hope in something lies

-

Where can I run a moment to restore

When streets alone and empty all denies

And vast cascades of nothing cloud the skies

There must be winds which stroke a peaceful shore

-

So empty are the voices from the wall

Which feed upon the scars that mark my years

This unknown wonder mid the pain I bear

-

Where can I run I sense refreshing call

From one who shared the Joys and bitter tears

The one who shares the mirror which I stare

Oh, wow, Mh, so haunting and beautiful. That image is amazing as is the lovely and truly relaxing piano music. Perfect!

      Up and more and sharing

      God bless, Faith Reaper

Martin, sometimes we feel liking running away from ourselves. However, it is those times that a good long look in the mirror is what it takes to reflect and make changes.

The opening photo is very interesting.

Your works triumphs your previous works-and thus it happens time

after time. When I think I have read your very best, you bring something

that brings tears to my eyes and causes me to rethink the core of my being.

The music could not have been better chosen. Don't know how you can pair up words to read and music to hear, with such excellence. You are

a man of perfection--and it shows--a perfect persona!

      DJ.

      Oh, Dearest Mh,

I was reminded this day, just how wonderful it is when God takes the ugly parts of our lives and wipes them clean and we are now new beautiful creations. I am so glad He is not finished with me yet, as I have a long way to go!

Hope you are enjoying a beautiful day in SF.

      Hugs, Faith Reaper

We sure can't run from ourselves, now can we?
