Whirling Stones By Diana Pierce
Reach out for strength and courage,
But retreat from whirling stones,
Know when you should back away,
And accept what is your own.
Defend the rightful victim,
To be kind when kind is due,
Others may see an ambush,
Be sure it is not with you.
Take pride in showing talents,
And be proud as proud can be,
Signs dot most any highway,
With things meant for all to see.
Whirling stones will wreck a heart,
Show common sense when you can.
No scars have ever surfaced,
Talking calmly to a friend.
