Who Really Deserves It!

Updated on March 23, 2012

Everyone needs it bad

Everyone believes they deserve it more

Everyone is trying to make someone proud

Everyone has a challenging tale...

This path never ends

This dreams never seize

Everyone wants to share

Make the world a better place the little way they can

Everyone wants to heal the world

Everyone dream is to become number one

Who gets to stand on the spot light

Who gets the number one spot

My goals are dear

I believe yours too

I cherish my love ones

I know you do too

Being number one means the world to me..

I guess is the same thing too...

Who deserve it most

Is it me or you

Them.. He or She!

Different pains thesame hurt

Different mistake but the regret is thesame..

The story never fades

But history is who wins the crown!

Who really needs it Most!

Proof reading takes the extra time to catch words Spell Checker won't catch. Namely that applies to correctly spelled words such as "seize" when you mean "cease" and "there" when you meant "their". The double check for making sure the word is the right word as well as spelled correctly will add points to even good scores. Spell Check will catch "thesame" in this one and do its favor for you. Good thoughts you are expressing here.

Dear Capedium - Your 4th line reads "Everyone has a challenging tale..." This is eye-opening and very true.

My Daddy used to tell me "if everyone threw their own bag of troubles in the middle of the floor and were told they could trade their bag for any other one - they would take their own bag of troubles back."

Your poetry is a gift to me. Your words bring back many cherished memories that might otherwise be forgotten. And at my age, memories are nuggets of gold.

Thank you and I joyously voted your poem up, awesome and beautiful!

Voted up, awesome, and beautiful. Very interesting article. It gives you a clear understanding how me easily think about ourselves rather then others. The way I see it, we have to take care of ourself before we can help others. Very cool article and a strong message.

Very Beautiful poem Capedium! I believe that the real number one people are the ones that you never see on the front lines, or barely even notice. They are the ones that you never hear about, because they are busy taking care of the sick, poor, and needy. They are the people that holds families together and offers guidence through kind words. They are somewhere giving someone a hand up or a handout, without looking for so much as, a thank you. They are people like yourself. Many blessings to you and yours. :)

An interesting poem, but personally I'd find being Number One too stressful and intimidating. I have a motto which is also my second name: JOY - Jesus first, Others next, Yourself last. It's a comfortable place for me to be.

      Hi Capedium,

I am not a competitive person so I don't have a desire to be number one.

I would like to think that if I was married that I would be number one in my husband's life.

      Voted up and awesome.

Voted up, beautiful and interesting. Like Gypsy Rose Lee God is Number one with me. Also agree with always exploring that being one is not always the best. Too much stress to stay there. Wondering how Lance Armstrong ever dealt with that pressure! Great poem, as always, you come up with some wonderful ideas. Blessings, Sparklea :)

Katrine.. I love your philosophy.. Perfection is not being first.. Being first is being best.. Again I agree with you being first is satisfaction.. That's being best in what you do, or simply enjoying what you do.. Thanks for reading and ofcourse leaving a though provoking commnet.. You always inspire me

There used to be times when I wanted to be number 1 because others wanted me to be, but you come to realize that you can never please everyone. What matters is that as long as you do all you do with best of your own abilities, giving you the inner satisfaction and fulfillment, then you're good to go. Perfection simply doesn't exist. Always do the best you can :-)
