Who will tell It

Updated on February 7, 2018

Harish Mamgain likes travelling , and is fond of the craft of writing. He loves poetry.

Who Will Tell it

Clouds wander above in the winter morning,

The sun turns into the white moon,

The cold chilly wind penetrates deep within,

The sun makes efforts to show his might,

In the faded sky above.

And I am lost in all these,

And embrace them all,

The winter,the morning,the sun,

And the clouds, the cold and the sky,

These and I and the moments,

All are in me, in my mind,

This I think and I also think,

Can the winter tell, can the clouds speak,

Can the Sun whisper, can the cold reveal,

What passed between all these and me ?

Camera can click and make it all panoramic,

And can also record all the sounds around,

But can it record ever my heartbeats,

And the love in my eyes, the surging emotions ?

Maybe the sun will be the same,

The winter may be the same,

Will clouds be the same ?

Will fading of the sky be the same ?

Will there be someone who will be the same ?

With all the same emotions and feelings,

And the same existence.

Perhaps no, not possible,

So I am convinced,

Who will tell all this if I do not ?

Who will tell all this if I do not ?

Alexander, I 'm glad that you liked this poem. Sometimes I think we leave out so much to appreciate and be blessed with all happiness and bliss. Here, in this part of the world, we deem this world as illusion or false creation of our mind. What it means that there is not an illusive world before our eyes but it is our mind that has cast its spell upon us and made it illusive. Seeing your comments, I presume that such kind of questions might have arisen in your mind too. Isn't it all interesting to dwell on the things of this wonderful world ? Thanks for your visit and your kind and insightful comments.

Awesome! your diction is captivating to the soul. you lined those words perfectly well that when i read them i felt the chill of the snow dart about my face.

Many questions (I can't even answer) begging for answers. You told about the winter and I wanna be there.

      Great poem!

You are welcome, my dear friend. It is my pleasure you visited this hub again. You are such a great poet and it is your generosity to offer such kind comments. I hold that when a guy abandons all prejudices and discrimination toward other fellow beings and try to understand and appreciate them with all love and affection, he is filled with a wonderful serenity of mind and he is then capable to see reality of everything/everyone in all glory and glamour. We, all, irrespective of our social rank and regional base, are dignified and adorable and only our eyes need a deep penetration into things/guys. Thank you for appreciation and your beautiful comments. All happiness and much peace. :-)

You have taken the time to write so wonderful comments to my writings. I love to return often to your works of wonder that you created out of words that change the way we think, feel and hear. So I hope you don't mind when I visit again to refresh my memory of the great thoughts you inspired.I can't add to something that is beautiful the way it is. Have a great night.

It's my pleasure! I fully believe that a real poet writes primarily to express his or her own self in words that flow forth from deep within. If it accomplishes that and gives the poet's soul satisfaction, it's already proven its reason for being and worth.

I was never sure whether any of mine would speak to others. In fact, I wrote mostly in total privacy, except for prolific letters to a few close friends. But my poetry notebooks were where I could refer to communicate with myself, and to find subconscious wisdom I wouldn't have realized I had, otherwise.

Even when I joined Hubpages, the last thing I intended was to publish and share my poetry here! I had no ambition for fame and was somewhat possessive of my poetry. I wasn't even very excited about writing on it at all, much as I've always loved all kinds of writing. I was invited by an aspiring writer friend when he discovered HP and encouraged me to join. I did so mostly to please and support his hubs. Little did I know what a great group it would be, so many encouraged me whenever I wrote anything. Before long, I knew I wanted to share more of my stuff and to encourage others to express their own feelings and thoughts -- and to share them. Thank YOU for your lovely comments! :-)

Nellieanna, your visit to this hub is like an most expansive gift ever given to me. I rarely write poems but reading so many wonderful pieces produced by such excellent poets like you, something stirs me to awake the asleep emotions in the recesses of my mind. Though the stuff is not always good, it gives me certain kind of satisfaction and peace. You are right that our own experience is subjective and unique but we can revel in the similarities like joy, enlightenment and virtue and also negative impressions. It is so kind of you to have read this piece with love and presented such lovely and elaborate comments. I am really very lucky to have found you and followed. To have your comments on this hub is like a treasure to me. I am also thankful to you for follow. I wish you all happiness and peace in life. Thank you very much.

My, my! I saw your lovely comment on one of my poetry hubs, and, as is my custom when someone I've not yet met visits my hubs, before I reply, I like to visit his or hers to acquaint myself with to whom I'll be speaking.

Well! I came to your profile page and was almost tempted to do something I've never, ever done - become a fan before reading any of the hubs. Simply reading the titles of yours and their brief introductions was like communicating with a kindred spirit! But I decided to read one (difficult to choose which one, with so many enchanting choices!). I didn't want to limit my praise to what a fan's comment can be.

I love this one. I've often felt the same way about "If not me, who?" Also, I am so convinced that what one feels and observes is subjective for each person, and may or may not be identical with any other of us. But we do share the experiences in our own subjective ways, and their qualities of goodness, enlightenment, and joy are similar, as are their more negative impressions. I very much prefer to emphasize the positives in my life, but while realizing that we all have both our valleys and our mountaintops. We can't have one perspective and impact without the knowledge and awareness of the other. But where we choose to dwell, - either up or down, - is ours to make, if only by default, which tends to hover in the darkness.

Being aware of and responsive to everything in one's moment is to be fully alive, and what is better than that?

I am definitely your follower and fan! Thank you for appearing on my hub so I can know you and your work!
