Who are They? -Fallen Identities (Poem)

Updated on August 27, 2015

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.- John 14:6

Can you guess who they are?

They lust because of greed

They harbor grudges, despises righteous deeds

They corrupt the truth; ridicule things of above

Relentlessly strive for their story of love

Cruelty and hypocrisy, ruling in the hearts of them

Going after selfish desires of the flesh,

Goal is to conquer, regardless the means; as long as they can

Prosperity and power, they call their dreams

The world is in their hands, so it seems

Evil and rebellion, their confidence may be in

But in the end, none of them will win

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”— Mark 8:36 NKJV

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.-John 10:7-10
