Who are we? Machines or Emotional beings-Man vs Machine
Who are we?
Whenever we become philosophical this question does cross our minds. Who are we? what is the purpose of our lives? What makes us happy what makes us sad? Why is there so much suffering in this world? There are innumerable questions that remain unanswered. Unlike Buddha who renounced the world after observing an old man, a sick man, a corpse and an ascetic we still want to hold onto the strings of living a decent if not a grand life. Many of us are willing to put in the best of our years to earn well so that after a period of time when we become old we can lead a relaxed life. Inspirational sayings make us believe to keep trying and never give up and we work like machines challenging ourselves whenever we fail. But is it required after all we are humans so we will fail at times, we will get tired and we will give up sometimes.
We are constantly competing with machines. It is man who has invented machines . Computers, robots are great inventions of man .

Who are we? Man or Machine
According to Man
a machine is a device
which enables him to work faster
By using all sorts of equipments
and getting his job done he portrays
an image of a hard task master.
Situation is such today
that he finds himself
categorized in the list of machines
Profit and money are the only two factors
for which he works and has made him so mean
He tries his hand at those jobs only
where he can satisfy his selfish mind
For the sake of his personal gain
how far his imaginations can lead him is hard to find.
Every action in life has become a business deal for him
In these activities relations are also not spared by him
In general parents pay more attention
towards their son than their daughters
They try to satisfy all his wants
with the expectation that tomorrow
their son will look after them
Not realizing that this child
can even throw them out
when he thinks them to be a burden
This child will also be treated
in the same manner by his son
Man by his nature never learns from his mistakes
and keeps on repeating them again and again
He doesn't accept the truth that man is mortal
and his body will not function the same way always.
When he was young ,
he never cared for the Old people
today he is Old and nobody cares for him
But when he realizes this, it is already very late
He is filled with remorse and so he can only blame his fate
When he is about to die then he realizes his Self
And comes to the conclusion that-
God made the biggest Machine
that is Human beings
who were able to invent complex machines
that could perform any function but
Think and Emote.
