Your Mother: A Poem

Updated on June 4, 2015
Mother's love
Mother's love | Source

A topic more than near and dear to our hearts, mother. There is no one and never will be anyone like your mother. She is a dear and loving lady who did her best for you. Sure she made mistakes, but we are after all only human. I have written this little poem in honor of my mother and all mothers who love you....your mother will always be true to you, no matter what you do! I've also included links to other hubbers thoughts about mothers.

She nurtured you and loved you all through the thick and thin
Accepted you and coddled no matter what your whim
Who stood by you and loved you
On days both bright and blue

Your mother who just loves you
And always will be true.

She cared for wounds and bruises both serious and light
And kissed you when you got scared by something in the night
Who showed no matter what you do she'd be there through and through

Your mother who just loves you
And always will be true.

She nurtured you and loved you

She wrapped your wounds and touched your heart when others did depart
She helped you when you wanted just to make a brand new start
Who never asked for anything, not even love returned
Gave her love so freely no matter what without even being earned

Your mother who just loves you
And always will be true.

Who is this lady filled with love, God's blessing from above
Whose peace and joy encircle you just like a mourning dove
Who knows just when to speak with you or when you need to think
Who knows when life has pierced your heart and left it with a chink

Your mother who just loves you
And always will be true

Who's there even when you are totally out of sight
Who is the person you can call on in the day or in the night
Whose love is unconditional no matter what you do
Who loves you when you're happy and loves you when you're blue

Your mother who just loves you
And always will be true.

I am so proud of you , being able to touch so many people , I know so and there you go a reminder of such simple truth again coming from you.

This is simply truthful and beautiful. When folks have love for their parents ,and lets say they have problems with daddy so many often do.

Then they will have to be insane to have problems with mommy too ! That's a child's built in job , for as long as it takes , to understand mother of get her lovingly to understand you.

tillsontitan you are so true with these words , it's the meaning that stays with us, it's the encouragements from others who we may admire , that helps fuel our journey that's called life.

May the Most High bless you and your entire family this day and always. Great work.

      Give Thanks.
