Why Am I So Tired ?

I Am Walking

My body is feeling it

I can't blame the weather no more

The rain has stopped and the sun is out

A change in my attitude

Looking for energy ?

I have always taken a one a day vitamin

Now I need something more

I still eat good

Lots of fruits and vegtables

Pumping in the water

I feel like a fountain

Writing more and reading less

My eyes get tired easily

I wonder if my body is making up excuses

I am pulling out every trick I know to keep motivated

Opening all the windows and doors in my house

Letting the fresh air circulate

I cut my things to do list in half

Less on my mind

I haven't watched any t. v. in a week

I went to bed early so I could get an early start

After a couple of hours I want to crawl into bed

I am not interested what is going on in the news or with friends

If I was swimming in a pool

It is if someone has grabbed one of my legs

The more I try

The more I struggle

I hope I am going through a phase

Well I am making new plans to snap out of it

This was never a problem before

I got dressed and through on a dress shirt

I put on some country music

That usually makes me feel good

Now I turned it up loud

A little watermelon always tastes so good

Small changes go along way

I get motivated and then after a little while

I lost my interest or desire

I ate some peanuts to give me some strength

      Gypsy Rose Lee I hope your all better. It is awful when we don't feel healthy. From time to time I see other people that are sick and I realize how blessed I am. I usually have so many thoughts and things I want to do I feel like a subway during rush hour. Thank you so much for sharing.       Our weather became very cool so I prefer to spend my time in the bedroom by the PC. Something I ate also didn't agree with me so I am not feeling too well but staying active on the PC helps.

      Venkatachari M I like the things you do to enjoy your day. It is important that we push ourselves to fill up our minds and bodies with beautiful life. Any struggles that knock us off our feet temporarily slow us down and with friends we can bounce back to our feet and find more good again. Thank you so much for sharing and caring. Wishing both you and Ms Dora a day filled with excitement and new found energy. One that we all can tap into when we get depressed or drained. A rainy day today even though I feel the urge to nap I will do a few other things first.

      Ms Dora I love to read so many peoples hubs on HubPages but then I push to do some writing. When I go to work I look around and see people bored and I think they just don't want to work. I am fine with work it keeps me busy and gives me the money I need to pay my bills. I think of all the things I want to do. I read a lot of motivational books to keep inspired. When I write it is if writing is the only thing that exists. I also enjoy working out in our yard cutting the grass and planting flowers and a small garden. I have a lot of ideas that are just good thoughts that have so much potential. They each require attention and dedication. My wife makes sure we do everything else that needs to be done. Thank you for reading and sharing. What do you do to keep you motivated ?

      It happens sometimes with me. Not in a mood to cook food, not interested in reading or writing or anything. I am 66 years old. But, I keep busy all day in cooking the food, sitting at the computer for 4, 5 hours, watching one or two serials on TV, getting up early, doing worship for a one-and-a-half hour, listening to some songs (mostly old classics and some devotional), like that. I do marketing also but not daily. This is my daily routine since 5 years after the passage of my wife.

      Billy buc Sharing the trials and surprises of each day. The aches and pains go away. At least for a few minutes until I move again.       I have been taking B12 which sometimes gives me more energy. Also, exercising definitely helps!

      We writers have to remember to get up and stretch and not sit for too long at the computer. Also, I read that if we are sitting at the computer, we should love away every 30 or so minutes and blink more. When we look at computers too long, we don't blink as much and it can make our eyes dry and tired.

      I'm 68, my friend, and it really hit me over this winter. My body seemed to suddenly realize how old it was, and then new pains and new tiredness started to appear, and quite frankly it annoys the hell out of me, hobbling around, not as limber, more tired....sigh! I guess I could start running again, but then I would have to rearrange a schedule that is working for me, and blah, blah, and blah. Maybe I just need to accept the fact that I'm no longer young and this is what aging feels like. :)

      Changing Tides 2331 It is great to hear from you. I find where there is a will there is a way. The answers come after years of trial and error. My mind can travel free. My body has it's limits. I will explore and explain more later. Work and family life are so different there is always a give and take. May happy thoughts fill your body and your mind.       Working late nights & driving long distances can be exhausting. Personally for me sometimes after working late nights I would start nodding off as people were talking to me, it was frustrating & embarrassing. Trying to be a provider for your family includes many different things, all very taxing on the psyche. Over the past 2 months I've acquired a better sleep routine & feel more energized, I know you'll get there too in no time. Creative masterminds such as yourself need quality sleep, you deserve it!

      Manatita 44 The sports you have participated in are amazing. I ran in high school but I stayed away from marathons do to all the pounding your knees have to go through. So many runners have injuries that follow them through life. I went to walking which is less physical. Now that is even painful sometimes. I will listen to my inner voice. Thank you so much.

      Yes, Bro. Since '94. Came from a combination of hard work, running marathons and ultra, long marathon swims, very bad diet and negative emotions ... travel and burn out ... disobedience to God and Guru ...todos.

      One learns to live with it, as it has its own benefits, but it's still very uncomfortable.

      Listen to the body as best you can. It or rather the inner voice is always speaking. Just listen, the physical is a significant vessel of God's Light. God speed!!

      Manatita 44 Have you struggled with it for years? What was your solution. I am going to try to keep moving. When I get the money it wouldn't be a bad idea to be tested. I will keep you updated.       Yes, Bro.

      It's happening to me and I feel very drained. Chronic fatigue, not new. A real struggle, that one! Had to focus much sometimes and thinking of stopping work.

      All I can say is check you vit d's, B12, Iron and ferritin levels, thyroids ... see a Kinesiologist, they are very good at Diagnosis but can set you back 100-150 dollars. Don't pay more. They can investigate viral, poisons, candida, parasites plus ....

      As a hub you describe this very well. Much Love and good vibes for your progress. Keep me informed.
