Why Is It A Crime To Feel Good ?

Updated on November 11, 2015

People Are Set In There Ways

It raining out

I love it

The cold wet drops waking me up

It's early morning

A whole day ahead of me

I listen to what people say and think

Their body tightens

Their face becomes twisted like a bad car reck

Rain

Why do you hate it so much ?

As you hurry from the car to the house

Sure the sky turns dark

A good day to catch some extra zzzzzz

For me that is reason enough to love the rain even more

On the radio

I hear the news

I wish the weather was cooperating

Surrounded by that sad feeling

I understand you have to drive slower

Because the oil on the roads makes them slick

Time to slow down

Take a good look at what you would normally miss

I hear people say they can't go out

The funny thing is if it didn't rain

They wouldn't be outside any way

Cloudy days

Showers

Breaks of sunshine maybe

Rain tomorrow too

A chance of it clearing up

Rain makes me feel alive

An outdoor shower

How fine is that

So as people curse

I step in puddles and kick the soaking wet leaves

One more reason to enjoy my day

Hey

As that sneaky rain drop drips quickly down my neck

Giving me a sudden chill

My body shakes

Rain you got me

Caught me off guard

Even my socks are wet

As for me if and when I can I love to dance in the rain. When the rain becomes snowflakes in the wintertime I still like to keep on dancing.

Jodah I wish you could of been here.I stayed out in the rain all day. Sure everything got all wet. Now for the next few days we will be drying off. Till rain comes traveling through. I heard it's on the road. Leaving here and headed straight for you. Rain can be many things to many people. I hope those places that need it get it. Those places that have had enough it will stop. Rain can be quite aggravating at times. Rain can also make your day. Rain is like a secret love. You come close but the time isn't always right. Other times that is all you can think about. Thank you for reading and sharing. Have a great day.

annart I did something real silly. We have so many leaves that have to be picked up before it is too late and the snow comes. I bought an electric mulching mower. It works great but it goes slow. My plans were to clean up the yard and many times other things take priority first. So today I was determined to mow those leaves and it started to rain lightly. I did not stop. I started at 9:30 A.M. to 5:00 at night. The only reason I stopped was because it got dark. My wife was mad. All I could say is they have to get done and today was the day. Thank you for reading and sharing on so many of my stoems stories/ poems.

Dream On, I rejoice when we have rain. We get so little here that we are happy when it does happen. Very good hub.

Rain is a gift. We would die without water, so would nature and God's creatures. Nothing like the smell of the air after a summer rain, so wonderful and glorious. A special bonus is an unexpected rainbow which often appears on the horizon.

Thank you for the enlightenment regarding rain. You are a treasure.

      Blessings Sparklea :)

Michael-Milec I think it is sad how many people follow the leader and think of rain as sad not wonderful and nourishing. Society as a whole has even labeled rain as a disappointment instead of a special treat. To much rain can cause floods and problems. Then to much of anything is no good. Thank you for sharing your story and encouraging the wonders of rain. I find it amazing that when it rains every spot can be covered in seconds. Watering my garden I know how hard that is. Rain a wonderful blessing in so many ways. Thank you for reading and sharing my day.

A joy bringing crime by the consequences of rain , to me is always undeserved blessing coming free in abundance. Getting wet and soak counts as double blessing. As a young boy growing on a farm, the people were making joke about the rain in mid of Summer: taking nap in Summer rainy day, increases growth of potatoes . I think it would be crime with reward.
