Why Love Is So Beneficial

Updated on August 18, 2017

I Would Have To Guess

Lets get the physical out of the way first

Beyond feeling great

An exercise I don't mind doing

Making my heart race

The emotional high

When we can take our fantasies and reality with a twist

Not to much of one and a nice dose of the other

I am no scientist or medical doctor

So there are many variations of all of the above

This is from one persons point of view

I get the notion of my body floating in the air

Which I don't know how that is possible

When I can see me

I haven't moved

The incredible joys of being relaxed and stimulated at the same time

It is too opposites I know

Go figure

Every sound sounds clearer

Every feeling touches deeper

Craving for companionship

Someone to talk to

Tell our dreams and desires

Spend our time with

If it's when we are hurting or upset

Confused or feel broken

When we do something good

Talking about something we think matters

Even if nobody else believes it to be true

A hug

A real up close full body contact hub

Hug it was the last hug you ever were going to give

The closeness of two people

The comfort of being in each others arms

The joy of listening to another person talk

Not remembering everything they are going to say

Listening how words roll off the tongue

The sound of each chasing another

Filling up our mind

With all wonderful thoughts

Unsure how love starts

Enjoying it in every shape and form

I will be counting the minutes

When love strikes again

Bringing out the happiness

Which I have not told you so far

As it sparks my interest and desires

Illusive and free

Chasing it

Watching my head go side to side

Up and down

Turning back and forth

Like a yo-yo on a string

Gypsy Rose Lee There is enough love for everyone. The more we share the more we find. Love keeps growing. All we have to do is appreciate it. Thank you so much for reading.

I do believe that even the smallest of creatures wants to be loved and understood.

Demas W Jasper All your points are valid. I should of proof read better and then I could have picked up on many of my mistakes and made it a better read. At the same time isn't life not perfect and why should people pretend to be. We are all human and have our faults. Because everyone doesn't look the same and someone has a bigger nose than someone else. Maybe someone else has crooked teeth. Another person may be short or heavy set. Does this take away from the person that is in the inside. Maybe they can loose weight or get a nose job. Then again if they were born small they have to live with it no matter how many people think they should be taller. I do the best I can and many times I don't meet the standards of great writing. If I listened to my English teacher I would have never finished anything because she only wanted perfect. She favored a few students and bragged about how good they were. Instead of spending time with someone who was struggling and still trying. If I listened to my own family I would of never written one poem because they thought who would want to read your writings any way. So I appreciate all your helpful hints and will make changes as soon as I can. At the same time I am proud to publish a poem of my thoughts that go way past grammar errors and usage. Right down to the heart of life and what I am feeling and experiencing at any given moment. I am willing to share my inner feelings where other people hide behind closed doors. Some of my writings take me hours to get this far. A busy life with work and other responsibilities pull me in all directions. Thank you for reading and sharing. I am so happy to receive your comments.

Note: persons/person's, too/two, hub/hug, Hug it was/Hug as if it was, each others/each other's, When/Until, Illusive/Elusive. Also: I am not sure you can be faulted for not remembering something someone hasn't said yet, or how a human head can turn back and forth.

Suggestion: Make a real effort to set aside your draft overnight, and come back and read it critically the next day for errors, typos, and clarity. Most readers want neat, clean copy without errors that distract from the flow of what they are reading.
