Why do these days seem lifetimes without you

Updated on August 30, 2014

The space drawn between us makes no sense to my heart,

and even my mind is racing to close the gap,

Missing your smell mixed with the air I breathe, not telling the two apart,

Wishing to control the light of the stars to shine my feelings on the infinite sky map,

So you could see, feel, know that my love longs for you,

That my time spent without you are only in efforts to discover a cure for our distance,

With each new day brings new light to find you, but each lonely night is hard to make do without you,

Even when my heart stops, my soul will seek your existence,

My lifetimes spent, searching for where your heart went, and never content, until you meet me in the present.

      One line won me over:

Missing your smell mixed with the air I breathe, not telling the two apart

That one was so romantic Kelvin, wondering if someone is still around and will come back. I voted it up, shared and pinned it.
