Poem: What were you thinking?

somehow I believe

that many of you

are simply there

hoping and waiting

for your child to

just magically turn

out the best child

in the entire world.

That's exactly the

way it should have

been seen in your

mind eyes, each

and every time.

Because that's the

way God made it.

But I guess things

have changed since

Mankind took over

Now it’s a roll of the

dice.

Why couldn't you

See?

What wrer you

thinking?

Was it for your

child to say to you.

OK, enough!

What am I really

supposed to do

with that which

you are giving me?

Who exactly am I

supposed to truly

become after all ?

See this type of

food

see this immature

attitude!

How I am to

learn what's

the correct way

to act?

You have not even

tried much less

give me a tap.

Something to

remind me

What may be

in order.

or what’s selfish

rude.

Why aren’t you

showing me that

which I lack

Why is everyone

shouting at me?

When I heard

it’s the adults who

are the ones

that are supposed

to have the

children’s backs!

It sound so sweet

to know that all it

takes is two people

to have a child but

for the best welfare

in raising that child!

become of me now

since I am the one

you are constantly

Regretting, clearly

wishing that you

never had?
